Fire booms are important equipment used in marine or other waters to control the spread and transfer of oil spills and to contain oil and slicks on the water surface. In particular, it has an irreplaceable role in intercepting surface run-off fires, preventing the spread of fires and controlling oil well blowouts.
It is suitable for fixed deployment and emergency deployment in offshore, bay and oil port terminals and other waters.
For oil spills that cannot be recovered, fire booms can be used to tow the oil spill to an appropriate location for controlled burning treatment.
Product Description
1) Composed of heat resistant steel floats, flexible parts between floats and boom quick connectors. Stainless steel floats, flexible materials with a temperature resistance of up to 1000°C and universal quick connectors make up the water fire protection system of the fireproof boom, which can be used in tandem with ordinary booms.
2) The underwater skirt is PVC coated on both sides with high strength fabric.
3) Three force-bearing elements: heat-resistant steel wire rope, reinforcement belt and counterweight chain.
4) Each section of the boom is stored separately in a mesh boom, which can be stacked, and the boom floats when the mesh boom is lifted into the water during deployment. Can be recycled again and again.
Applications
1) To intercept oil spills and flowing fires on the water surface, good in combination with fire fighting agent foam.
2）Used for oil spill burning treatment, U-shaped to intercept, transfer or divide large oil spill, can concentrate oil spill to facilitate ignition to ensure safe burning
